Friendship is Simple.
Sometimes we overlook the quality of a true friend. When we envision having a friend, sometimes we think of all the fun and laughter we should have, but seldom do we think about the character of our fantasy friend.
A true friend will tell you the truth , correct you when you’re wrong, and stand beside you in your ups and downs. A true friend is not perfect, but they will not try to control your life. Instead, they will pray for you.
We live in a world where friendship and gratitude have become a click of a button; a quick thumbs up, or thumbs down. But, can you be a friend face to face? Like for real, for real? Can we sit down and have meaningful talks/conversations about Jesus and how Good God has been to each of us over cookies and hot milk or even hot tea?
CAN WE NURTURE EACH OTHER AT OUR LOWEST POINTS IN TRUTH & LOVE?
I met a true friend today, and let me tell you “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”
Who have you been letting walk by without realizing their true value?
Lord thank you for your undying Kindness, love and mercy. Thank you for the people that you place in our lives on a daily, on a regular, and even sparatically. Help us not to overlook their value or worth. Help us to appreciate each other from the heart, and not just the outside. Let our friendships and relationships grow to the their fullest potential in your will and in your son Jesus name, amen.
